The planning department refused permission in February of this year; this time the developer appealed the decision to An Bord Pleanála in March. We are waiting for their decision which will be made later this year.
We should like to thank all the members of the public who took the time to attend meetings and lodged their concerns and objections to the planning department and Bord Pleanála to help to protect this much loved public amenity.
