Congratulations to the Dalkey U11 Community Games Rugby team who won the Dublin County Community Games championships at Skerries on Saturday 23rd March. After a strong semi-final performance against host team Skerries the Dalkey u11’s faced a strong Clontarf u11’s team in the final and after a tough match eventually came out winners with a four tries to two result. Thanks also to the U11 coaches; Ian Rowlands, Neil Keogh, Brian McGovern and Laurence O’Brien. Many thanks also to the many parents who travelled to the north of the county to give such great vocal support.

Winner Leinster Championships
Dalkey u11’s representing Dublin County travelled to Kildare for the quarter finals of the Leinster Championships on April 10th and faced strong opposition but beat Kilcullen in a thrilling match. The team progressed to the finals on 27th April and after a very tough game beat Tullow, Co Carlow. Congratulations and well done to all the players.
